How to wear
Step 1: Find the button. This marks the middle of the wrap. Place the middle at your waist and wrap each end around your waist to the back, like a belt. This step determines how loose or tight the wrap will ultimately be. Please note: with smaller babies, start higher on your waist.
Step 2: Take each end and come over the opposite shoulder from behind to the front. Take care not to twist the fabric. It should be flat against you fairly tight.
Step 2 (continued): Take each end and come over the opposite shoulder from behind to the front.
Step 3: Criss-cross each end under the belt.
Step 4: Wrap each end around your waist again.
Step 5: You can either tie in the back or wrap around front again and tie at the front, side, or back depending on your size and preference. Use a square knot, tying right over left then left over right to ensure the knot does not come loose.
FOR NEWBORNS (8-12 LBS)
Step 1: Put baby in inner shoulder strap, pulling fabric around body.
Step 2: Pull the second shoulder strap around baby's body. Baby's legs are in a froggy position.
Step 3: Pull belt portion up to baby's head ensuring they are secure. You can use the belt to cover the baby's head or one of the shoulder straps to ensure good neck support. Please follow our safety guidelines.
FOR INFANTS 3+ MONTHS
Your baby is ready for this method when they have good neck control (usually 12-25 pounds)
Step 1: Put baby's first leg through the innermost shoulder strap. Pull fabric around bottom and back, all the way to the knee.
Step 2: Put baby's other leg through second shoulder strap, also pulling fabric around bottom and back. Ensure that the legs are equally and well-supported by each shoulder strap. The shoulder straps should stretch from knee to knee so they are in a frog like position.
Step 3: Pull the belt portion up to secure baby in place. Ideally their knees should be above their bottom.
